Guestbook closing soon
Sorry it's been a while since my last post. It's been a mixture of not a lot of time, and not much to say.
It's with deep regret that I'll be closing down the guestbook sometime soon. I'm using probably one of the best guestbook programs around, however it suffers from a major security flaw which appears to be used by many people on a daily basis. The security flaw allows people to inject data directly into the backend SQL database without needing to enter the guestbook data via the online form. Why is this bad I hear you say.. because people are adding meaningless entries and injecting a URL so as to improve their ranking in search engines like google. I don't want a guestbook full of crap meaningless entries, and this is becoming a real burden to have to daily remove multiple entries from the guestbook. I'll be sorry to remove it, but I don't really have much of a choice. As soon as I can think of what to put there in it's place, I'll be making the changes to the site.
Apart from that, not a lot is happening. My health is okay in the Crohn's front.. no symptoms. In about a month i'll be going for a blood test to see if I need a vitamin B12 injection.. That will be the 6 month anniversary of the last one.. Normally I get an injection every 3 months, but my specialist gave me permission to get regular blood tests to see if I can spread out the injections. Lets cross our fingers.
